The combination of the the two loops was the perfect distance.

Another Foggy Day
I headed out the door at about the same time as yesterday. My pace was a bit slower, but I was not too far off. It was the second foggy day, but reflective gear definitely makes a difference. I am liking this Ridge loop when I get out early. Very quiet and remote. I did 8.79 miles in 2:12:23 for a 15:03 minute per mile pace with an average heart rate of 101bpm with an elevation gain of 147 feet at 63 degrees and 94 percent humidity. I am blessed! Long Night/Short Sleep
I had an Pumpkin Spice Latte in the evening— combined with an off day meant a not so sleepy night’s sleep. I took the time to rest and pray, even though I didn’t fall asleep until after 1 am. The best 3:40 alarm went off and I managed to get the work in. I did 8.71 miles in 2:11:36 for a 15:07 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 205 feet with an average heart rate of 94 bpm at 45 degrees and 92 percent humidity. I was blessed to get the work in.

Early Start
My goal was to get out so early that it wouldn’t matter if I was slow. Today I did the Ridge Road Loop. It was quiet and peaceful. I love this route. It is very dark on this route, but the bright yellow lines on the road provides me with all I need to stay on the road. I did 8.77 miles in 2:13:56 for a 15:16 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 152 feet with an average heart rate of 96 bpm at 66 degrees and 89 percent humidity. My daughter Ericka turns 27 today. God has truly blessed me. May God grant you a good weekend!

Slow, but Still a Go
I got out at my usual time, but I had a feeling that I would be on the slow side— I was:). I did the Woodlot/Randall Loop. I jogged to make sure that my slow walking pace was neutralized. I did 8.71 in 2:10:02 for a 14:55 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 205 feet with an average heart rate of 95 bpm at 51 degrees and 84 percent humidity. I might be tired, but I am grateful.

Quiet Middle of the Week
Things sometimes feel status quo— but that can be a very good thing. To have the status quo taken away wold be a sad thing indeed. I have been on the slow side here in Ridge. Fatigue and weight an issue. I’m on the upper end of my normal weight. Work as it is now involves very little movement— that I believe is a factor. Other than that, I feel great. I did 8.65 miles in 2:11:29 for a 15:12 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 156 feet and an average heart rate of 98 bpm at 52 degrees and 77 percent humidity. Thank you Jesus for your many blessings!

Blessed on a Wet and Rainy morning
I got back a bit on the latish side from Maine, which put me a bit behind. I was slow on the workout and slow on the commute, yet I am happy. I got the work in despite some difficulty. I did 8.75 miles in 2:12:28 for a 15:08 minute per mile pace with an average heart rate of 112 bpm with an elevation gain of 222 feet at a rainy 58 degrees and 93 percent humidity. I was wet , but not uncommon at all. I enjoy these sort of mornings. Have a blessed day— Jesus is Lord!!!

Sunday/Monday In My Old Home
I headed out on a Sunday, taking advantage of being on my home turf so to speak. Literally every corner is like a painting. I did 8.82 miles in 2:10:48 for a 14:49 minute per mile pace with an average heart rate of 100 bpm with an elevation gain of 559 feet at a windy 49 degrees and 73 percent humidity.
Today I did 9:08 miles in 2:17:46 for a 15:10 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 602 feet with an average heart rate of 99 bpm at 40 degrees and 59 percent humidity. I was a little tired after a total of over 28,000 steps yesterday. I had to make a number of adjustments slowing my pace a bit. I really felt blessed to be back in Eastport— still feels like home. God bless!

Grand Finale
I woke up with a plan in my head. It’s a good thing I had a plan, but fatigue just made everything slow. Thankfully, my commute went just fine. I did the Randall route again. Sometimes
....it falls together. I gave myself 3 extra minutes of sleep. I was tired again upon awakening, but still managed. Once I hit the road I am usually fine. I did the 3 times Woodlot Loop with the third lap cutting across the path. I have to backtrack a bit on my first lap to add a little distance. I did 8.9 miles in 2:07:07 for a 14:16 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of undetermined since I had to charge my phone and an average pulse of 96 bpm at a temp of 61 degrees. Have a blessed day.

Experience
Tiredness is what I felt upon waking up this morning. Most people would roll over and go back to sleep. Experience has taught me that if I get out the door I will be fine. I did get out of the door and thankfully it was a positive good morning. I did 8.75 miles in 2:06:28 for a 14:27 minute per mile pace with an average heart rate of 122 bpm an 183 foot elevation gain at a temperature of 61 degrees and 76 percent humidity.
