Ditto Day two in Eastport

I woke up after another comfortable night’s sleep at the Motel East. I have enjoyed the alone time. Waking up alone with a beautiful view of Passamaquoddy Bay and delving into the Word of God has been a blessed time. There are times when it is good to be alone and gain a perspective. I have of course also enjoyed visiting with my daughter Kaitland and my grandson Keon. I have also enjoyed sitting around the breakfast table the past couple of mornings with the “regulars”. During this time I have been just Eric— not eric the husband, not eric the father, not eric the teacher or the coach— just eric. Today I did the same workout as yesterday, just varying the sequence of the loops ever so slightly. The stats were almost identical—9.52 miles in 2:15:29 for a 14:13 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 732 feet with an average heart rate of 118 bpm at a temperature of 8 degrees and 57 percent humidity. It has been good to be home back in Eastport for a couple of days. The views are spectacular and the people are warm. There’s still a chunk of my heart here in Eastport. Looking forward to seeing my parents Lord willing later this afternoon. The time here has been restful. God is faithful and God is good! Not sure if the last chapter of my life in Eastport has been written yet. One thing for sure, God would have to move powerfully to get me nad my wife back in Eastport. Have a blessed day!
