Today I did something that I haven’t done in over 3 months— The Longwood Loop power walking. It was a comfortable morning with the temp just above 60. My wife Charlotte and Jace are with my daughter Ericka and my precious granddaughters in Bloomsburg, Pa for a couple of days. I’m staying behind in kind of a supporting role. My hamstrings definitely get worked harder when I power walk. When my wife is away in allows me to operate without stealth— that’s basically the only positive. Here are the stats— 9.16 miles in 2:14:26 for a 14:40 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 368 feet with an average heart rate of 117 bpm with the temperature at 60 degrees and humidity was 88 percent. This route I see more cars , but almost zero people on the street. The thing I like about the summer is seeing my daughters more often. My daughters are the best thing that came out of my first marriage— God Bless them all. Have a blessed day!
