Terrific Tuesday

I was really tired when I woke up so I decided to take the 5 Hour Energy Extra Strength to help jump start this tired body.  I decided to do the Longwood/Medford Loop again. I did 8.90 miles in 1:56:11 for a 13:02 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 240 feet with an average pulse of 115 bpm.   My heart is heavy with knowing that my daughter Kim hardly has anything as a result of her poor choices.  I will provide some relief Lord willing , but some life lessons have to be learned.  Bible study tonight. Looking ro see what God is going to do. Have a blessed day! Jesus is Lord!

Good Monday

I got up a bit before my alarm thankfully.  As usual, I had a lot on my mind .  I got out in decent season and did the Longwood Loop doing 8.90 in 1:57:52 for a 13:14 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 250 feet with an average heartrate of 119 bpm. It was a breezy 54 degrees with the sun peaking out earlier each day. I saw my friend Chuck on the Ridge Road this morning.  My granddaughter Ryleigh's birthday today. God be blessed!

Thursday/Friday

On Thursday I did the Longwood/Medford Loop doing 8.72 in 1:52:25 for a 12:53 minute per mile pace and an elevation gain of 268 feet with an average pulse of 126 bpm. Today I did the Ridge Road Loop doing 9.11 miles in 2:00:25 for a 13:12 minute per mile pace with an average pulse of 115 bpm. I didn't have an elevation gain today as I forgot tomtake my phone with me which seems to work with my watch to determine elevation gain.  I have been busy and tired, but I am grateful for opportunities that the Lord has enabled me to complete.  Finally have my office back and am so glad to have my quiet place back. Habe a blessed weekend.

Better Mojo

I woke up groggy and feeling alone, but with God's help I worked into a good state of mind focused on the duties ahead.  I headed out the door in my usual heavy gear for cooler spring weather.  I decided to do the Longwood Loop to which I added greater distance as my watch has been taking away distance aince the update. I did 8.89 in 1:58:17 for a 13:18 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 259 feet with an average pulse of 119 bpm.  My wife is having a busy week so I am keeping her in prayer. Have a blessed day!

I decided to do the Medford/Randall/Woodlot Loop .  I did 8.93 in 1:59:34 for a 13:22 minute per mile pace with an elevation change of 163 feet with an average heartrate of 118 bpm.  I have a touch of a cold with some congestion ao I will be a bit slower this week. So glad that I now know where Kimberly is living. Thank you Lord. Have a blessed day!

Not so Hot

I had a fatigued and very average workout today after a good yet tiring weekend. I did the figure 8 extra plus, which my watch seems to be giving me less mileage after the last update. I did 8.42 miles in 1:57:54 with an elevation gain of 120 feet and an average heartrate of 117 bpm with an average pace of 13:59 minutes per mile. It was a cool 42 degrees.  Just pleased to get the work in. God Bless!

Friday/Saturday

I got up a lubit earlier on Friday, excited to be heading to Maine to spend the day with my father on his 74 th birthday.  I ended up doing the Ridge Road loop doing 9.02 miles in 1:57:06 for a 12:58 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 154 feet with an average pulse of 119 bpm. On Saturday I did 9.00 in 2:01:01 for a 13:26 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 889 feet with an average pulse of 126 bpm.  I was kind of tired on Saturday, but I knew that I would be eating pretty good with mom's cooking.  I cut one set short on my squats this week since I had to condense all the work into one day. My glutes and legs are feeling sore today thanks to the intense workout yesterday. On the ferry now heading to Port Jeff! God is good!
