Uncertainty

Today I woke up about half an hour later because my alarm was stopped by an alert on my watch that because I was sleeping I did not dismiss. I hurried along ,
Got put the door 15 minutes late, but made it to work on time. I did the Medford/Randall/Woodlot Loop doing 8.69 miles in 1:56:07 for a 13:21 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 163 feet with an average pulse of 116 bpm at a temp of 64 degrees at 97 percent humidity. I am uncertain about a number of things right now, but I have a confidence in the Lord. Kim’s graduation this weekend along with Jace’s. My parents are coming down for the second time in 8 years and my inlaw John is arriving tonight. Kimberly’s mom is also coming down. A graduation party to boot. Let’s see what God is going to do!

Rainy Thursday

I heard it rain throughput the night so I was prepared for a wet workout. I god a hoodie reluctantly as it was warm and muggy, but I didn’t want to get soaked. I did the Scenic Hills, Longwood, Medford Loop again doing 9.12 miles in 1:55:24 for a 12:39 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 298 feet with an average pulse of 119 bpm at a temperature of 65 degrees at 100 humidity. A lot on my mind , but at least I had the Word of God in my heart after reading it before I for up. One more school day. God Bless!

Life by Faith

I woke up this morning with hope, not because of my circumstances but because Christ has given me hope. I did the Longwood Loop again doing 9.22 in 1:58:24 for a 12:50 per mile pace with an elevation gain of 311 feet with an average heartrate of 124 bpm at a comfortable temperature of 61 degrees and humidity at 77 percent. I know God has a plan for my life. I just need to live in obedience and faith. Have a blessed day!

One Week(and counting)

I woke up early due to Jace and his friend Anthony(who is like family)getting up at 3:30 to go fishing. I drank my Seven/Eleven Coffee , read my Bible and headed out the door. I decided on the Longwood Loop doing 9.06 in 1:58:43 for a 13:05 minute per mile pace with no running or pick-ups involved. There was an elevation gain of 315 feet with an average heartrate of 124 bpm at a comfortable 56 degrees and 88 percent humidity. In 8 days my Kimberly and stepson Jace graduate from Longwood. Today is a Juneteenth celebration at RCA. Have a blessed weekend.

Peace & Quiet

I decided to do the Ridge Loop today as I was feeling in need of solitude once again. The weather was warm but comfortable with a nice breeze. I saw my splits which indicated fatigue which of course means that I was due for a slow time.  I decided to add 12 pick-ups which helped get me home in a more reasonable time. I did 9.17 in 2:02:01 for a 13:18 minute per mile pace with an elevation gain of 132 feet with an average heartrate of 111 bpm at a sunny 71 degrees.  The pick-ups helped pull me out of the duldrums. Things are hectic here at this final 9 days of the school year. God Bless you!
